Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Our Easter started on Saturday night this year as we decided to go to church on Saturday evening, instead of Sunday morning. What a wonderful idea! The service was amazing and was full of Christ's love! It was wonderful!
I think Easter is the only day that you can wear bunny ears on your head and get away with it...so we definately put that into full effect yesterday! When we woke up Sunday morning it was raining, so we slept in a little bit and then when Trinity was ready it was time to get up (funny how she dictates the schedule!! haha) Then I went off to the grocery store so I could begin a morning of cooking for the Easter meal. We went over to Stephanie's (Clint's Sister) house and had our traditional ham dinner and of course an ever so famous easter egg hunt! Trinity had so much fun and loved to find the eggs and then of course throw them down so she could pick up a different one! What a fabulous day to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!

Easter wouldn't be the same without crazy uncle Adam & daddy!

Girl Pic!

Does it get any sweeter?

Yes, that is Clint with bunny ears on...no I didn't even have to ask him to wear them..it was all of his own doing! Gotta love him!

What a good daddy!

I found an egg!!

Egg? no bubble!!

So freakin' cute!

Hmm...can I find another one of those colored things?

I am cute...and I know it!

16 month milestone.

Trinity is 16 months. Hard to believe. She is walking and running everywhere! Clint and I are having a blast and pretty much thinking that parenting rocks. (let's hope we are still saying that when she is 16 right?!!). She is talking quite a bit....and loves to make funny faces. Hmm...wonder who she takes after in that regard? We had a 16 month photo shoot over Spring Break with the wonderful Aunt Beverly. I wanted to share the pictures of our growing little girl....where did our little baby go?
She looks so big to me in this picture!!??

Precious Girl.

Gotta love those cheeks!

Clint and I think this one belongs on a greeting card...we have been making up our own captions! ha ha!

Daddy was holding her up in the tree....

"Oh!"

I love my little girl!

"Don't mess"...I think that was what she was thinking! haha

Having so much fun running FROM the camera!

Nothing like the love from a daddy for his little girl.

House Update.

Okay. So I haven't not been very diligent on keeping you updated on the house...or anything else to be honest. I just need like 10 more hours in my day and then I'll be set to get EVERYTHING accomplished. Yeah...10 hours would do it...

Since the weather has been warming up we have gotten "spring fever." We have been doing alot of work on the outside....I am sure the neighbors are happy about that! It's looked pretty drabby until lately! This is my cute "contractor" hanging siding above the windows!! Yes he did charge extra for the pic!

Things at the house are going well. Last weekend we created an "insta-yard"...it was perfect.
However in true "Wright Fashion"...of course there was a process, story to go along with the project. :-) And it started out with two HUGE piles of dirt being delivered on our driveway...all because Clint came across some FREE DIRT. I mean who wouldn't pass it up! He used it to level out some of the backyard. Let's be honest, he saw a huge opportunity to play in the dirt!

Aren't they pretty!

The man behind the mess!

"A typical Thursay at the Wright's"

Anyway after the dirt was all moved...it was time to tackle the sod. I know many of you won't believe this buy I, Aubrey, did help lay the sod. I got messy, dirty, and yes I now need a pedicure. haha.
The every so ugly "BEFORE".
It's pretty awesome to see your front yard show up on a truck!

Well after the sod was down, Clint got going on the brick. We have been brainstorming on how to "spice" up the brick on the house and Clint decided to "re-point" the morter. Which basically means he takes a big thing that looks like a pastry bag filled with white morter and re mortered the entire brick on the house (well he only has the front done so far.) Yes he had to "draw" on top of every single morter line on the brick. I don't know how he did it...but it looks fabulous! Everyone in our neighborhood has stopped by to comment on what a difference it has made. ....hmm...now it's just on to the landscaping. Does it ever end?

Brick-Before Clint's magic

Brick- After Clint's Magic!

Left is "before" and the Right is "after"..also notice the beautiful new grass out front!! :-)

And last but not least...we tiled the backsplash in the kitchen. We used glass tile....I love it! (notice I am using the word "we" quite often...let's be honest...Clint tiled...I watched and cheered him on!)

Yeah..our house is becoming a home!
