Super Update

Wow. I knew it had been a long time since I had blogged, but Easter...really? I am a slacker. Actually no, I am not a slacker...just way to busy to keep up with all the things I try to juggle at once. :-)I love this pic. It's a classic from the one and only, Aunt Bev!

Well we have been busy since Easter that is for sure. Trinity is now 19 months old. She is running everywere, talking up a storm, and truly coming to be a little girl. Today is actually my first day of summer break. I am loving being with Trinity all day! Although as I type she is supposed to be napping and instead I hear her talking to herself...why is it that at daycare she naps like an angel, but for momma it's a battle? hmmm...

Playing at Aunt Bev's pool!

We have had quite a busy spring that is for sure. Lots of new work on the house, we are finally beginning to feel settled and at home, which is a great feeling! We went down to Austin one weekend while my mom came to visit and hung out with Aunt Spamy and Grandma! Then for mother's day my mom came to visit here in Grapevine and Uncle Bubba (aka Aaron) flew in from Arizona! The following weekend my dad came to visit along with my Grandparents. So we had a few busy weekends with traveling and company, but it was so fun! Trinity loved having all the new attention from everyone...hmm...imagine that!

Cuddling with Grandma Lila Mae!

Lovin Grandpa Jack!

Hangin' with Aunt Amy in Austin!

Getting ready to go shopping with the "girls" and
Grandma!

Sportin' our new crocs from Grandpa Randy, who need pants when you got legs that look as good as that!

One new adventure going on at the Wright house is that I got a new job. Yeah it was totally crazy and nothing other than God ordained for sure. I am the new "High School Math Specialist"for the school district that I already currently work for ....so the next question I usually get is "What the heck does that mean?" It's a bit hard to put into words,it is a curriculum position but basically I'll be working with the high school teachers at both of our high school campuses and being a constant resource to them. I will observe classrooms, go to tons of staff development, trainings & workshops, put on staff development, bring in best practices and basically just help out the teachers in anyway I can. I am really excited about the new position, but if I am completly honest it was quite bitter sweet saying good-bye to my classroom. I know this is where God wants me right now, and I know I can serve Him well in this new position, but who knows, maybe someday He'll lead me back to the classroom. I guess He only knows. :-)

Trinity did have her first "big boo-boo" ...she got her first black eye, or like we refered to it...her first shiner! She was playing and fell and hit her face on the dog bowl. Classic. It was about a month ago, but being I am bad at keeping the blog updated, I thought I would post a pic anyway.

Moments after the "incident"...getting some snuggles from daddy.

The day after. (you should see the other girl...haha!)

Almost a week later, it was still hanging on. She didn't care, she was having a good time running through the sprinkler!

Trinity has gotten so funny lately. I guess she takes after her daddy! One of her new favorite "tricks" is doing her "silly smile". It's hilarious. She created it herself...probably because she figured out everyone thought it was so cute and laughed when she did it. She has a few variations, but all so cute! She cruches up her little nose and eyes and thinks she is the cutest little girl around...well she is, duh!

Silly Smile in the pool!

Silly Smile before bed!

Silly Smile eating dinner!

Well I have more to post, but I'll have to do it later. I think Trinity just fell asleep....Happy reading!
