Lil Miss Independent!

The day has arrived! Trinity has been scared to death to walk on her own for quite sometime now. She would go anywhere if you would hold her hand, but as soon as you let go...it was crawl time. Clint was getting worried he was going to have to hold her hand when she went to prom....(well maybe he still will!)...but Trinity broke free tonight. We're not sure what inspired her, but she is well on her way....

You would have thought our daughter won the olympic gold we were so proud!! (are we 1st time parents or what!??) Some day I am sure Trinity will tell us how dorky we truly are!

Yeah for Trinity!

...this IS normal!!

Or maybe I shoud title this post..."There is light at the end of this tunnel....right?"

Many of you have been asking for a posting on the house...and here you have it! We are living in a complete mess at the moment. Clint and I were talking the other night about some things that we would like to do (have friends over for dinner, go to a movie, be able to actually relax when we get home, etc.) and we made the comment that we would get to do some more of these things when life gets "back to normal"...however then we started laughing. Let's be honest, we have been married almost 8 years and I think we have been living in the middle of construction for a good 5 years...THIS IS NORMAL FOR US! haha.

The house is coming along, and I know when you see the pics below you are going to think I am lying. However I am a firm believer that you have to make a "mess before you can make a pretty." Clint finished the master closet this past weekend, which is awesome! I can't wait to line up all of my shoes on my new "wall-o-shoes" that Clint built me!! Come on isn't that every girl's dream?!! He has also been working dilgently on the master bedroom, which we are planning on moving into this weekend!! Yeah! (in fact he is in there painting right now as I am posting this blog....what a man!)

Well since we moved in we have been using our Master Bedroom for storage, a.k.a distaster area (extra matress, extra couch, extra dresser, boxes upon boxes that have still not been unpacked, and most of my clothes were still in suitcases)....so now that Clint is finishing the Bedroom we had the "joy" of moving it ALL into our living room! Yes I like to call it our Kitch-Clos-Bed-Din-Liv-Room....everyone should have one!

So as much as I can't wait to share the "beautiful" pics of it all being completed....I wanted to share the "mess" we are living in before the "pretty" appears! It's nuts...it's totally unorganized, and I think we might be loosing our minds....but it's ours. And we love it.

I hope you enjoy the "befores" and hopefully soon I'll get to post some "afters"!!!

Veiw of the backyard from our soon-to-be master bedroom!
Clint diligently working away...he deserves an award!

The mess of a dining area!

Random stuff everywhere...it seems to be the theme!

Yes...that is a suitcase, dresser, file cabinet in our living room....can you spot anything else? (yeah Trinity is in there somwhere too!)

mmm....don't you love piles of "stuff" in your living room? Yes that is couch underneath all of those blankets, pillows etc....oh yeah and there are piles of boxes behind that couch!
No really....you shoud try the Kitch-Clos-Liv-Din-Bed-Room in your own home!!
