It was packed!! However we made the best of it anyway. We pushed through the crowds to see the monkeys, the elepahnts, the penguins, and so much more!
Trinity did pretty well. I honestly don't know if she even realized there were animals around. half the time. She had a good time, but could have cared less about the "zoo" part. I think her favorite "animal" were the goldfish (yeah the cracker kind.... that you eat! haha)
We stopped at the petting zoo and she did pet the rooster! There were sheep and goat as well, but I couldn't get her to stop for those she just wanted to walk everywhere, by herself of course.
Nate and Natalie were a huge help! I am so glad they got to enjoy the day with us. This was a little spot before we went into the penguins that was like a giant sandbox and it had a painted "aquariam" all around it...Trinity loved it!
Of course she had to touch everything! Funny, she didn't call everything a "puppy" as I had predicted, but she did wave at every animal possible and was sure to tell them all "hiiiii" about a hundred times. She was definately the friendliest "zoo-er" there!
Trinity and Mimi looking at the elepahants which was our last stop before we headed home!
Momma and Trinity after the long hot day at the zoo! We had a great time! I would say overall we had a very successful first trip to the zoo! Maybe next time we'll try to go when the entire rest of the world isn't there! haha.Trinity and Mimi looking at the elepahants which was our last stop before we headed home!
